Australian SME Awarded for Export Achievements and Commitment to Local Industry
Gasco Pty Ltd has won an award at the Industry Capability Network (ICN) Victoria’s ‘2008 Awards & Opportunities Forum’ for its support of local industry. As one of Australia’s leading combustion and processing engineering companies Gasco has had
considerable success in international markets, subsequently bringing business
back to Australia.
Gasco has participated in international trade missions to Russia, the Middle
East and China, embracing the overseas opportunities that have lead to the
company’s significant growth. According to Gasco CEO Nick Grzegorczyn, who recently
returned from an Oil & Gas Expo in Abu Dhabi where Gasco exhibited:
“Gasco’s focus on the oil and gas industry and faith in Australian made quality is
paying off with increasing enquiries from Middle Eastern companies”.
Gasco’s dedication to local sourcing ensures its continuing success is shared with
local Australian companies.
ICN is a government-funded organisation that supports local industry by matching
businesses with relevant opportunities, encouraging import replacement and
promoting the growth and diversification of local companies. ICN’s awards recognise businesses that have demonstrated a strong commitment to
local industry, for example through local sourcing or import replacement.
Gasco won the SME category in the event that took place on Wednesday 19th
November at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
